If Esther was born for “such a time as this”, I am convinced that each of us are too. It is miraculous that God has intended to use us for his purposes.

I suppose the question is the ‘how’ and that typically leads to the question ‘what?’. What leads me to look more like Jesus day after day?

The early believers were called the people of ‘The Way,’ said way referring to Christianity and the fundamental tenets of our faith. The Book of Matthew writes that the path into the Kingdom of Heaven is narrow, while the path to hell is broad. The dominant culture of the world is at complete odds with that of the Kingdom. I think that more than ever its important to discuss what it can look like to walk the Narrow Way without being blind and indifferent to those who aren’t.

Matthew 10:16 reads “Behold I am sending you out like sheep amongst wolves; therefore, be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.”

In my own life and walk with the Lord I’ve wrestled with what the Lord’s heart and design for women is. The world around me certainly wasn’t helpful. This is the amalgamation of my thoughts of The Lord’s heart, His word and the absolute freedom that it has brought.

There are a whole lot of opinions about what a woman should look like and after having gone through the motions (still am). It’s fair to say that there are standards and truths to uphold and lines to draw in the sand.
